Virtual classes are open to people of all ages. Together, we design an engaging curriculum that meets your artistic goals. Do you want to learn more about color mixing & developing a rich palate, how to draw using three point perspective, or how to use value and shading techniques to make something look 3-D?
I will ground your creative expression in historical and contemporary art culture and practices. Through zoom classes, we will make quick warm-up drawings to get our energy moving, and work on pieces over several classes with materials such as black India ink, charcoal, pastels, pencils & paint while working from observation, memory and imagination. WHEN: We will find a time that works; timezones are no barrier for virtual learning! WHERE: We can conduct class from almost anywhere in the world, as long as there is a good wifi connection! You could be in the comfort of your own home or outside, ready to paint the sunset at magic hour! FEE: $100 for sixty minute classes /$150 for ninety minute classes. Packages of four classes are available at discounted rates: $325 for four sixty minute classes / $500 for four ninety minute classes. MATERIALS & SUPPLIES: I will provide a comprehensive list of recommended supplies for you to purchase. You are also welcome to use favorite art supplies and/or recycled materials you already have at home.
